Mid Sussex District Council is made up of 54 elected Members:

  • Conservative - 52 Members
  • Liberal Democrat - 1 Member
  • Vacant Seat - 1

The Council operates a "Leader" and "Cabinet" model. Six Councillors serve as Cabinet Members and Group Leader, making executive decisions. There is also a Group Leader for the other political groups. Committees with specific responsibilities carry out non-executive functions. Councillors also serve as representatives on outside bodies.

All Councillors meet together as the
full Council. These meetings are normally open to the public. Members of the public may ask questions of Council.

You can search for the Councillor in your area by postcode or alphabetically.
